A sound of an umbrella handle expanding and retracting, making clicking sounds. Great for foley and sound design. Recorded with a tascam tm-80 in a non sound proofed room, without an anti-pop filter. The umbrella was fairly close from the mic during recording. The post-processing was minor, just an eq to cut out some of the superfluous low frequencies. You can mention me if you like to, or give a link to the project containing this sound, but that's totally up to you.

Recorded with tascam dr-05x with the gain set at 90 (maximum). Evident noise, the reason being is that i'm recording neighbours slamming their doors.

The sound of a dog leash and correction collar. Moved and dropped the collar, clicked the clip of the leash to simulate the sound of climbing gear. Recorded on razer kraken kitty and cleaned up in audacity.

Buttons being clicked together and then shoveled into an old cookie tin and shaken around to sound like lots of poker chips.

I really couldn't figure out how to describe this. There must be an industry standard description for what i'm calling a diminishing reverb. It was the metal funnel in a stove top espresso maker as it was rolling on a tile counter and got got in the tile grooves.

For my own obscure reason i took file 389436, looped it so that it repeats at 60 bpm, added about 25% echo, then added bilateral panning at 15 cycles per minute (cpm).

I wanted the sound of a sword being unsheathed so i took a nice zingy metal sword (from hello_flower's sword. Wav) and added a little chunk of wooden click at the beginning (from q. K. 's sword_sheath. Wav). This is my first submitted freesound hope you like it.

This is a stereo recording of an exterior glass and metal door on a university campus in new jersey, usa. There are several articulations of the door here that lend themselves to creature and robot noises. There is a whimper and a sigh and a screech as well as some ticking and clicking. This reminded me very much of baby godzilla type noises. I've put these into iris 2 and had a good time making synth patches with them. A sound of a tightening wrench (a bike repair kit) being spun around to produce its distinct ratchet like sounds. Foley fun: put to 25% of its rate and you get convincing metallic gear sounds, apply a tiny bit of reverb, maybe layer it with some screeching sounds from other users (or me, your choice) or a slow gate shutter to get a nice mechanical door opening sample.

This is a bass sound, not tuned but it is a perfect loop withouth clicks. It has no panning effect - i will do that on another sample. It is not tuned - use a program that tunes the samples to tonal. You must use it only in one octave from c5 to c6. In other octaves sounds not like a normal bass.

A large (12 person) elevator located in an apartment building that was built as a hotel for the 1972 olympic games in munich, germany. There are four of these in the building, and they all rattle like nobody's business. In this recording, a part of the elevator arrival chime that plays on the ground floor can be heard in the beginning. Then, i walk into the elevator (two clicks in the recording here) and the doors close. Then it travels up 12 floors and the doors open with a very concerning metal rubbing sound.
